Our little Roses went on a magical imagination journey with Anna. From warming up like real performers to stepping into a world of nature and wonder, the children explored movement, play and storytelling. All inspired by the picture book Kleine Hummel Ursel. Here’s Anna’s delightful recap of their adventure:

Oh dearies! New beginnings! Yay! It was wonderful to spend time at HD on Thursday. And those roses, oh my. We waddled over to our pond and started warming up like the pros after splashing in the water for a bit. Imagination was key. We got dressed and took a stroll. Out of the city into nature we went. What beautiful flowers. We layed in the cool grass to watch the clouds until we transformed into little bumble bees. Inspired by the picture book: Kleine Hummel Ursel we flew like the wind. Until- oh an eagle owl cracked out of its egg. With big wings we tried to copy all those tiny bumble bee moves. We played, we danced, we chased each other. Well, it turned out that eagle owl mistook bumble be for a snack and snap! Swallowed her whole. Not on our watch. We went bananas in the belly until a hearty owl fart set us free. What a day. On we danced!
